Candle Care Instructions

During the initial burn, please leave the candle lit for at least 2-3 hours or until the pool of melted wax reaches the edge of the container. The wider the container is, the longer you need to let your candle burn. If the wax doesn't melt all the way to the edge, the wax might cause tunneling and might not burn properly.

Never leave your candle unattended or near flammable objects such as curtains. Also, keep away from your children and pets.

Make sure to trim the wick to about 1/4" before each burn. If the wick is not trimmed, the flame can get too big, and it might cause the flame to flicker and release unnecessary soot. We recommend checking your candle regularly and trimming the wick as needed. It is not recommended to burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Radek's Visionaries of the Year Campaign

At ScentWick Candles, we believe in using our platform to make a difference, which is why we’re proud to support a cause close to our hearts.

Our founder, Radek, has been nominated for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Visionaries of the Year campaign, a 10-week challenge to raise funds for life-saving blood cancer research and patient support.

This mission is deeply personal to him, as his grandmother passed away from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). To help reach his team’s $75,000 goal, ScentWick Candles is incorporating special fundraising efforts until May 31st.

Every candle we pour is an opportunity to make a difference—because together, we can bring hope to those fighting blood cancer.
