Refund policy
Returns and Exchanges
We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, not lit, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase (i.e. order number)
To request a return or exchange, you can contact us at info@scentwickcandles.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. Damages and Lost packages
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If items arrived damaged, please take pictures of damaged items and packaging and send them to info@scentwickcandles.com. In the rare event that your package arrived damaged or didn't arrive at all, please contact the shipping provider directly to file a claim via these links: USPS and UPS
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain items cannot be returned, such as custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Additionally, we cannot accept returns on final sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded using your original payment method. Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too. If our products do not perform as intended or are defective, please reach out to us at info@scentwickcandles.com for a refund. You do not need to send back defective items. At this time we do not offer refunds for reasons other than those related to the performance of a product.
