Our candles don't have any extra "fluff" in them. They're handcrafted from 100% pure soy wax made from American-grown soybeans, non-toxic, clean fragrances, and a cotton wick. All fragrances used in our products are paraben, phthalate, and toxin-free. So, you can enjoy our candles, wax melts, room sprays, or reed diffusers with peace of mind.
We are a small, family-owned business and our products are
handcrafted in small batches; therefore, we have direct control over the
manufacturing process and quality standards.

Our Story
Hello,
My name is Radek, and I am the creator of ScentWick Candles LLC. I started our company in early 2020. It all started as a hobby because I was buying way too many candles. Shortly after I realized my passion for candle-making. With a lot of research, practice, and testing, I made the first candles I could stand behind and created ScentWick Candles in June 2020.
Our mission is to create natural, toxin-free, sustainable, and eco-friendly candles. We chose to use only 100% soy wax in our candles, free of any additives or dyes. The soy wax we purchase from our supplier is made of American grown soybeans. To learn more about the benefits of soy wax, click on the Why Soy Wax? article in our blog.
The next important part of each candle is a scent. The scents we use here at ScentWick Candles are free of phthalates, parabens, and carcinogens and follow all health and safety regulations, including California's Prop 65. That way, you don't need to worry about the safety of our scents.
Finally, the last part of each candle is a flat braided cotton wick, free of zinc and lead.
Our company is located in Toledo, OH. We do not own any large manufacturing facility, and all candles we produce are hand-poured and handmade by me personally right in our candle studio.
Sometimes it can be hard to make a candle purchase decision online, even though we include a scent profile of each fragrance. For that reason, you can shop our candles in 6 stores around Northwest Ohio, as well as numerous craft fairs, festivals, and shows throughout the year.
